A family farm, grown one season at a time.
Prime Grower Farms began as a small plot of land outside Montreal, worked by Joe Fraser with little more than a tractor, a handful of seedlings, and the belief that food grown with care tastes better.
From a single field to hundreds of acres.
For years, Joe worked the land himself — planting in the spring, harvesting through summer, and delivering crates by hand to local grocers. Neighbours began to ask for more, and one field became two, then five, then a farm.
A new generation at the helm.
Today the farm is led by Joe Fraser Jr., who grew up between the strawberry rows and now serves as General Manager. Under his stewardship, Prime Grower Farms has become one of the largest family-owned fruit and vegetable growers in Quebec — expanding to hundreds of acres of farmland while keeping the family standards intact.

We've grown — but our roots haven't moved. Every crate that leaves our farm is grown, picked, and packed by people we know, on land we've cared for across generations. That's what "family-owned" means to us, and it's why growers, chefs and families across Quebec have trusted our produce for decades.
